Ptera

The wilds of the North are vast beyond imagining, and travel is hard even in the summer months. To combat this, the Gremlins construct great kites of hide and wood, on which the bravest of their number strap themselves. Upon these makeshift wings they can travel great distances, riding upon the air currents that whirl over the mountains and forests of Njorsvald.

In battle these crazed Gremlins, named Pteras after their resemblance to the great flying reptiles of Chaq-Itza, swoop down upon their foes with their sharpened beaks, or drop rocks from on-high. Their constructs are flimsy, however, and some choose to die with honour by dive-bombing the enemy, rather than just being a red smear on the ground.

These models are cast in Warploque's fine resin and are provided unpainted and unassembled. Plastic bases are included.
